The mission of Silver City Street Outreach is to provide low-barrier, trauma-informed, and justice-centered support through street outreach, harm reduction, and peer advocacy. They operate with a “meet people where they are” approach, both physically and philosophically, ensuring that services are accessible regardless of someone’s circumstances, readiness for change, or ability to navigate complex systems. This includes distributing harm reduction supplies, responding to crises in real time, and operating a drop-in space that offers connection, basic resources, and pathways to housing, healthcare, and recovery-oriented supports. Everything we do is grounded in public health best practices and shaped by lived experience.
