Round Up Donation Application
We are now accepting applications for 2027*. The application deadline is November 30th, 2026.* Applications must be received by November 14th, 2026.
For five decades, the Silver City Food Co-op has been committed to giving back to our community. In 2017, we introduced the Round Up Program, a new way for member/owners and customers to participate in this commitment. This simple yet powerful community giving program allows customers to “round-up” their grocery bills to the next dollar amount for recipient organizations that share our commitment to a healthy community.
A calendar of rotating monthly recipients is established annually. One organization is selected for each month and all donations made during the month will go to the designated recipient. The calendar may be modified at any time to reflect emergency/disaster relief fundraising, or internal cooperative fundraising. Organizations may not be a Round Up recipient more than once per year.
It is required that organizations applying for Round Up donations be 501(c)(3)s.
How to Apply:
Round Up Recipients are selected once per year. Please use this online form only - no other will be accepted.
Applications must be received by November 14th, 2026. All applicants will be notified of the Silver City Food Co-op’s decision in December. All materials must be received by the application deadline in order to be considered.
All Applications for Round Up are considered for inclusion in the Silver City Co-ops Annual Round Up calendar. Applications are reviewed by a committee of Co-op employees and board members. Most significant among the criteria the committee will consider in its decision making, is the compatibility of the mission and values of the Silver City Food Co-op, with the mission of the applying organization.
